Grilled Loin with Red Wine and Berry Sauce

Ingredients:

4 extra tender Loriente pork loin steaks

200ml of red wine

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 tablespoon of cornflour

50g of frozen berries

Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the wine and sugar, and bring to a boil. Dissolve the cornflour in a small glass of water and add it to the wine. Cook for about 40 minutes or until the alcohol has evaporated and the sauce begins to thicken. At this point, add the berries, reduce the heat to low, and cook for a few more minutes.
  2. Season the extra tender Loriente loin steaks with salt and pepper, and grill them to your liking.
  3. Serve the loin steaks with some of the red wine and berry sauce, and place the remaining sauce in a sauce boat in case you wish to add more.
