Serrano Ham Sushi

Ingredients:

1 pack of Loriente Serrano Ham

100g of sushi rice or bomba rice

160ml of water

1 avocado

50ml of rice vinegar

1 tablespoon of sugar

Soy sauce for serving

Steps:

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly to remove the starch, place it in a pot with 160ml of water, cover, and bring to a boil over high heat. Once it starts boiling, reduce to a low heat and cook for 20 minutes without lifting the lid.
  2. After this time, uncover and allow the rice to cool.
  3. Mix the rice vinegar with the sugar and drizzle it over the rice.
  4. On a sushi mat, spread a layer of cling film and arrange the Loriente Serrano Ham slices into a square on top.
  5. Spread a thin layer of rice over the ham and place avocado strips at one end.
  6. Carefully roll it up using the sushi mat.
  7. Once rolled, remove the cling film and cut the roll with a very sharp knife.
  8. Serve with soy sauce.
