Teriyaki Sirloin

Ingredients:

1 Loriente Extra Tender Sirloin, cut into medallions

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 tablespoon of cornflour

50ml of water

50ml of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of rice vinegar

¼ teaspoon of ground ginger

50g of toasted sesame seeds

Salt and pepper to taste

White rice for serving

Steps:

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the cornflour in the water, then transfer to a saucepan along with the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ground ginger.
  2. Heat for 3 minutes until the mixture thickens, then set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat a little olive oil and sear the Loriente Extra Tender Sirloin medallions on both sides until they begin to brown.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  5. Once the sirloin medallions are nicely browned, cover them with the teriyaki sauce and cook for a couple more minutes on each side to absorb the sauce.
  6. Serve the medallions over a bed of rice, drizzle with some of the remaining sauce from the pan, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
